Orders

When you order, we will require your name, address, e-mail address and your credit/debit card details. This information will allow us to process your request & notify you of acceptance of your order.

A contact telephone number may also be required so that we can contact you if there is a problem with your order.

Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and The Dolphin House Shop will take place on the despatch of the products ordered by you, unless we have notified you that we are not able to process your order. There are several reasons that we might not be able to process your order:-

We reserve the right to reject any offer of purchase by you at any time. We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but, in the absence of negligence on our part, we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party obtains unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from our Website.

Order Cancellation

We are happy to accept cancellation of your order by telephone (Mon- Fri 9.30am-5.30pm) prior to despatch of goods. If your order has already been despatched please follow the procedure set out in Returns Policy. Please note that once an order has been processed we issue a confirmation email.

Description of Products

Each product purchased is sold subject to its Product Description. We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the Website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered into the system. Although we aim to keep the website as up to date as possible, the information, including Product Descriptions, appearing on this Website at a particular time may not always reflect the position at the exact moment you place an order. We have taken great care to ensure that the reproduction of colour is as accurate as possible. However, due to the photographic process some slight variations may occur.

Payment

We accept Visa, Visa Debit/Delta/Connect, MasterCard, Switch/UK Maestro, JCB and Solo. Your credit/debit card will be charged on the date that your order is despatched. Please note we are unable to accept American Express or Diners Club.

All prices are inclusive of VAT (where applicable) at the current rates and are correct at the time of entering the information onto the system. The total cost of your order is the price of the products ordered plus delivery.

You confirm that the credit/ debit card that is being used is yours. All credit/ debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

Refusal of Transaction

We reserve the right to withdraw any products from this Website at any time and/or remove or edit any materials or content. We may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawing any product from this Website whether or not that product has been sold.

Returns & Exchanges

While we hope that you are delighted with your order, we understand that sometimes you will want to return some items.

Please return the items to us within 14 days of receipt and we will offer you an exchange, refund or credit note, providing goods are in perfect condition.

The parcel and its contents are, however, your responsibility until they reach us. We advise that you request proof of postage from the post office when returning goods, as we cannot refund or exchange items that are broken or lost during return transit. Please note that the cost of returning goods is at your expense.

In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged or faulty we will be happy to offer an exchange or refund provided we receive proof of purchase and your return is made within 14 days of receipt. In this case, we will be happy to refund the cost of returning the goods by first or second class post.
